Rumble in the Jungle Mazooma Slot
Unlike many of the Mazooma games featured here at Games Mania, Rumble in the Jungle is one that we had not had the pleasure of playing in land based establishments prior to this review. Having only just got finished with the Ronnie O’Sullivan’s Big Break review, we were expecting another licensed title but this time with boxing as the theme. However, neither Muhammad Ali nor George Foreman are anywhere to be seen and this is in fact just a jungle themed slot game. We’re not going to complain too much as we’re still certain of some great action on the reels, so let’s get right into it.
The game presents a colourful board with visuals that we would consider to be above average in the Mazooma range. Playing card icons are joined by themed animal symbols and the flowery wild card to make up the bulk of what players will be seeing as they look to land wins across the traditional twenty win lines. The game makes use of the same Rewind feature as used on Mazooma’s Notre Dame too, where players that see a non-winning spin may randomly be awarded a free respin of the reels, with the outcome being a guaranteed win.
Jungle Spins
The first of the bonus rounds on Rumble in the Jungle, and perhaps the best of the lot, is Jungle Spins. These rely on the Jungle Spins logo, which lands on reels two, three and four. Landing three in total will award five free games on a different set of reels that are inherently more valuable than their base game counterparts.
There is a pick bonus too, known in this case as the Pick a Parrot bonus. Land three or more parrot scatters in view and a number of parrots will enter the field of play – specifically the number of triggering symbols. Players can then take their pick of the birds in order to reveal an instant cash prize.
The other contender for best feature on the game comes in the form of the Monkey Bonus, and you’ll initially be looking for three monkey symbols in view on the board to trigger it. A three reel slot will enter the field of play with each symbol being worth a multiplier on the board itself. Each symbol that lands will fill a meter that leads to more wins, and the chances of this game going on for a while and keeping the wins coming are pretty high. The round ends when players have landed three rotten banana symbols in total.
The Jungle Jackpot prize displayed on the screen can be won in one of two ways. First, players can win it by finding three golden banana symbols during the Monkey Bonus. Alternatively, picking up five golden bananas in view at the same time during Jungle Spins will lead to the same outcome – a massive return that will make any player’s day!
Rumble in the Jungle is one of the better Mazooma slots out there and while we have seen all of the action before throughout the range, it still makes for an incredibly tidy little package.
