Dragon’s Wild Fire by Mazooma
Mazooma is not exactly the kind of developer that first comes to mind when it comes to speedy releases, and while the likes of NetEnt and Microgaming are dropping new action in our laps on a monthly basis, we are lucky to see a new Mazooma game once every six months! However, they are clearly still on the case as, at the time of writing, Dragon’s Wild Fire is one of the latest releases around in general, and we’re looking forward to getting our hands on it to see exactly how it plays out.
The game is certainly a looker and joins the likes of Notre Dame and Spinderella in being some of the best looking action in the Mazooma range. The playing card symbols make a triumphant return and are joined on this Oriental themed slot by some colourful themed symbols. Times haven’t changed completely and the developer has elected to stick with the twenty-win line layout that we know and love, and the coin bet options are as flexible as ever. Of all of the symbols, the fiery wild card is one that players will definitely want to look out for as it not only fills in for other basic symbols but also plays a part in the features too.
Grab a Flaming Respin
The bonus action on the game kicks off right there in the base game, as players will be looking to land the stacked dragon symbol on any reel. Fill the reel completely and the dragon symbols and any wild cards already on the board will freeze in place as a free respin takes place. If you land more dragons or wilds on this respin then the process will continue, enabling players to stack up on wins without ever leaving the base game board.
Dragon’s Wild Fire Free Spins
The main event on this game, as with so many others, is a free spins bonus round. Land a yin yang symbol on each of reels one, three and five and you will immediately trigger the round, with seven free games being awarded. Prior to each of these spins, players will be required to choose one of four directions and when the spin has played out, any wild cards on the board will step in that direction while also leaving an additional wild in its previous position. Some creative usage of the directional choices can ensure that you always have multiple wild cards on the board on every spin, so paying attention on this game can certainly be rewarding!
While there are not quite as many features on Dragon’s Wild Fire as we have come to expect from the older games in the Mazooma range, there can be no denying the potentially lucrative nature of both of the options included here. It is nice to see a focus on wilds, which is something that the developer does not do all that often, and players will have plenty of opportunities to win throughout the course of a standard gaming session on this one. Check it out in full at the top of the screen, or play for real cash at any or all of our recommended online casinos for Mazooma fans!
