Guns n’ Roses Slot by NetEnt

2016 is the year of NetEnt’s rock tour and it all kicks off in style with the official Guns n’ Roses game, which has been a year in the making. NetEnt seems to be ahead of any other developer when it comes to building the hype for one of its new releases and this game has been eagerly anticipated for almost a year in its own right. Well, it’s here and we’re going to take a look at what’s new and what we can look forward to – something that we’re particularly looking forward to given that branded games from the developer rarely disappoint.

Gameplay and Options

The game starts things off simply enough, making use of a standard board and an even more rudimentary selection of twenty win lines, so that certainly isn’t going to scare off any experienced players. Normally, the lines and coin bets are the options to pay attention to, but we’d also draw a player’s attention to the Set List, where you can find five different Guns n’ Roses hits and choose one or even set up a playlist of your own, skipping out on any of the ones that you’re not too fond of.

In terms of symbols, the usual suspects make an appearance, including both Axl and Slash, and they’re joined on the board by plectrums and playing card icons. The Guns n’ Roses logo is the wild card and it’s particularly useful as it will expand to cover the whole reel each and every time it lands. It’s not the only wild card on the game either, as players may encounter the Appetite for Destruction wild card too, which can appear in one of three positions in a cross shape. It then covers five symbol areas with wilds at the same time, with rewards to match.

Rock Out with Base Game Bonuses

The Appetite for Destruction wild card is great, but things get even better from there with two more base game boosts. The first of these is the chance to win Legend Spins, which are triggered at random and essentially award three free games. The first will see a stacked wild on the third reel, with stacked wilds on reels one and five coming into play on the second spin. The third and final spin can be the most lucrative of all with stacked wilds on reels two and four. There’s also a Solo Multiplier that can come into play following any win which, behind the animation, essentially makes for a random multiplier of between four and ten times on the whole prize.

The Bonus Wheel

The best part of Guns n’ Roses is definitely the bonus wheel, and landing a bonus record symbol on reels one, three and five at the same time will trigger it. The wheel is then spun, with one of three further bonuses awarded. This could be an instant coin win, a three stage pick a win round in Crowd Pleaser, or Encore Free Spins, where ten free games are awarded with one band member entering the board as an expanding wild on reels two, three or four.

The Guns n’ Roses slot game was definitely hyped up and we’re pleased to report that it certainly doesn’t disappoint. Great features that combine slots favourites with the themed action make it another “must play” new release and players can see exactly what it’s all about by playing right here at Games Mania instantly!
