We’re getting kind of used to the idea of brand new online slots featuring heroes of music lately. The base game is packed with as many iconic Jacko elements as players would expect, including the studded glove, hat and shoes, although it’s a little disappointing to see that there was actually room for the good old playing card icons too. The sparkly wild plays a part in many wins, but the main features are where the real action is at and they kick off within the base game.
Moonwalk Wilds and Stacked Wilds
The base game bonuses are all about wilds and we were pretty impressed with the implementation of the first as Michael will moonwalk across the reels, leaving between two and five wild cards behind as he does so. These are slightly different to the regular wild in that they will also double the value of prizes that they work with. There are also stacked wilds which are again triggered at random, seeing two reels turning completely wild while a spin plays out.
The King of Pop Wheel
You can’t beat a good wheel of fortune bonus game and that’s what lies in store here whenever the bonus symbol lands on reels two, three and four at the same time. This probably isn’t the biggest implementation of a musical style on the reels that we’ve ever seen, but Bally has certainly managed to do the starring character justice.
