Happy Fruits by Mazooma

We would probably consider Cops and Robbers to be the best known Mazooma slot of all, but firmly in the discussion for second place is Happy Fruits. It was one of the first games to combine the ideas of fruit machines and video slots successfully and continues to be a major hit among players in land based venues around the country. That said, why travel out to play when you can play the full, authentic version of the game right here at Games Mania? We’ve got that, plus a full review, so let’s get right into it!

Twenty Lines of Fruity Action

Happy Fruits is about as flexible as it gets when it comes to bet placement, with players being able to enjoy the action across twenty lines – or less if they prefer – and make use of a whole host of coin bets while they are at it. There are a few themed symbols but the main draw for once is the playing card icons, as they are not the normal ones. Instead, they are the Happy Fruits themselves and they add a welcome dash of colour to proceedings throughout the game.

The gold star is the wild card symbol and it will fill in for anything on the board aside from the three bonus symbols, which all bring something fun into play in their own right.

Hit a Crazy Streak

The first of these bonus symbols is the key, and landing three or more at the same time will lead to a small game where players head back in time to a three-reel slot. There is only one pay line but you will be tasked with filling in the spaces above the reels. When you have all three, a multiplier will be applied and a prize will be awarded. The reels will then keep on spinning with the prizes continuing to mount up until you land three killer tomato symbols at once, at which point the round is over and it is back to the base game.

The next bonus symbol in effect here is the lucky seven and if you land one on each of reels two, three and four, they will become clickable. Players can then choose one to reveal a gold, silver or bronze seven symbol and a cash prize and multiplier. They will start ticking upwards and when they stop, that represents the prize that players will receive.

Finally, the splat feature will come into effect whenever players land three of the green pick a win symbols on the board as the same time. Once again, the task is to select one of the triggering symbols and this one will reveal a multiplier, which is then applied to the current win.

Happy Fruits may be an older game but its charm has by no means diminished over the years and it is every bit as fun to play now as it ever was. Check it out back at the top of this review or head on over to one of our featured Mazooma partner casinos in order to get into the action for real cash!
