Family Guy Slot Game by IGT

We’re not sure if we have a rather unusual passion for adult animations but we haven’t been this excited about a brand new slots release since South Park. That game from NetEnt hit the ball out of the park when it came to delivering an exciting experience and even though the Family Guy game comes from IGT, we have similarly high hopes now too! It certainly gets things off to a good start with graphics that wouldn’t look out of place on the show itself, with a backdrop of the Griffin’s living room serving as a perfect base for the action. We’ll also point out at this early stage that the game makes use of a bonus bet too. You’ll play over thirty lines but pay for fifty but we can’t even criticise here as there are so many features that it is simply impossible to feel like you’re not getting value for money!

Mystery Features with the Griffins

We packed a lot more than usual into the introduction and that’s all because we just couldn’t wait to get straight into the features, which all kick off with mystery bonuses in the base game. They can come into play on any spin that doesn’t see a bonus symbol landing on the second reel and the importance of this is summed up by Brian’s appearance, as his sole job is to trigger the main bonus feature if there are only bonus scatters on the third and fourth reels. That’s not all either as Lois can appear to attach cash values to family member symbols on the next spin, while Stewie can add one, two or even three wilds to a single reel, with the latter turning that reel completely wild. Peter rounds things off by simply wandering into view, farting and awarding an instant cash prize.

Explore Quahog in the World Bonus

The feature that Brian can trigger can also be entered with just three bonus symbols on a spin, regardless of any random bonuses although the randomness doesn’t end there with a globe being spun to decide on which of the three main feature rounds will be played. There’s the Drunken Clam, where you select one of the four regulars in Peter, Quagmire, Cleveland and Joe before setting about picking from taps. You’ll win cash with each pick, but there’s also a chance of your chosen character getting too drunk and falling over, at which point the round ends. Lois can also enter the action once again with her free spins round, which will see ten spins awarded and the chance to fill up a meter. Doing so successfully will turn the related symbol into a wild card for the rest of the round and the potential is there to add plenty of wilds into the action. Finally, you can pick a winner between Peter and the Chicken as they do battle over the course of three rounds. The ultimate winner offers the chance to pick from between four and seven bags of cash, while backing the loser restricts those picks to between one and three. There’s a small bonus for round wins too, as victory for your chosen character will apply a bonus multiplier to your picks when all is said and done.

We can’t believe that we’re actually going to say this but we think IGT may have done the impossible – the official Family Guy slot is even more enjoyable than the South Park ones! It was definitely worth the wait and we don’t want to keep you from playing any longer – head back to the top of the page to play our full, no deposit version of the game instantly, or find it for real cash prizes at one of the great IGT partner casinos that we’ve featured in the review’s sidebar.
