There are no licensed footballers on the game, but a generic cast of characters makes up the bulk of the higher value symbols on the game, and the lower value playing card suits have been designed to look like footballs too. The wild symbol isn’t the most creative one of its kind that we have ever seen, but is helpful nonetheless as it will fill in for anything other than the two bonus symbols.
Two Sets of Free Spins on Bicicleta
There are two bonus symbols because there are technically two bonus features, although they all revolve around free spins here on this game. The Free Spin football is one of the bonus scatters and landing three or more will trigger the free spins bonus, with three leading to eight spins, four good for sixteen and five serving up 24 free games in total. During this bonus round, you’ll be looking to land the trophy symbol on reel five and, in turn, will pick up between two and four more spins, a thousand coins or the Wild Feature. This additional bonus will see one reel turning completely wild and it will then remain this way for the rest of the round. The various players on the game can also become sticky wilds at random too, so the later stages of the free spins round can be very lucrative indeed.
The second feature symbol is the trophy itself when it lands in the base game and reel five is important once more. If the trophy lands there as part of standard play, you’ll pick up twelve free spins immediately and all of the features mentioned above will continue to play a part.
We’d have to say that NetEnt’s football game is still the cream of the crop for players that enjoy themed bonus features, but Yggdrasil’s Bicicleta is a solid game nonetheless.
