Theme Park – Tickets of Fortune by NetEnt

NetEnt may not release games as regularly as certain other developers, but that almost always shows in the quality of the titles that do reach our screens on a regular basis. We still consider Guns n’ Roses to be perhaps the most technically excellent online slot game ever made, and the bar has definitely been raised. That said, we weren’t expecting all that much from Theme Park – Tickets of Fortune simply because the development team at NetEnt is probably going all out to surpass the excellent of Guns n’ Roses on the upcoming Motorhead game. Fortunately, this is one developer that doesn’t really do filler content, and we were pleasantly surprised to see just how much the game has to offer.

It all starts off simply enough with 25 lines and the regular NetEnt control panel, which has taken on a nice shade of orange on this particular occasion. The visuals are certainly a treat in their own right, with the playing card icons being depicted by balloons and the themed symbols being somewhat similar, although each is based on a certain kind of ride. The wins are easy enough to match up in general but the wild card, which appears only on reels two, three and four, will make things even easier thanks to the fact that it can land in stacks of three.

The Theme Park Claw Bonus

Back before video games, the most infuriating game that we had ever played was the fairground claw machine. You know the ones, where you get the claw in the perfect position and it decides to inexplicably drop your toy of choice in an even more difficult location. Fortunately, landing three or more claw symbols on Theme Park – Tickets of Fortune will lead to a similar claw game, but with guaranteed wins. Specifically, the prize won will be worth anywhere up to fifteen times your total bet.

Grab Your Tickets for Big Bonuses

The main bonus features on the game are all about accumulating as many tickets as possible, as you generally need to pay for entry – just like at the fair. These tickets are won on a wheel of fortune and you’ll appropriately need to land three or more ticket scatters in order to reach it. The wheel will then spin and you’ll win a certain number of tickets, which can then be redeemed against one of six different fairground bonuses. There’s the Punch Bag, where hitting the bag harder will lead to bigger prizes, with up to 25 times your total bet on offer, and also the Can Tower where players will be looking to knock over as many cans as possible. Each can is worth two times your stake, but they multiply each other so knocking over all eighteen cans at the same time will return more than eight hundred times your bet. In the Sledge Hammer bonus, it’s a test of strength and the hardest hits can lead to a return of a hundred times your stake.

In Skee Ball, players have five balls that they will be looking to get into the various holes. Each hole comes complete with a multiplier, so the prizes in this bonus game are fairly self-explanatory. The Fishing game is a pick a win bonus where players can choose from up to five fish, with each being worth up to fifty times your stake. Finally, the Duck Shoot is similar to the Fishing Game, especially in terms of prizes, although the increased entry fee is justified by the chance at landing a bonus multiplier.

Even if your tickets do not tally up properly, there is a chance to enter any of the bonus games whenever the wheel bonus symbol lands on the fifth reel. This separate wheel contains the rounds themselves rather than tickets, and the bonus game it lands on will be awarded instantly.

There are no half measures when it comes to quality from NetEnt and they have hit the heights once again here on Theme Park – Tickets of Fortune, which is a great game by any standards. If you’re used to free spins then their absence could be noticeable, but the added bonus games are well worth a closer look and can be every bit as lucrative. It is themed action of the highest quality and a game we are happy to recommend. Play either for free or for real by checking out Theme Park at the top of the page or at your favourite NetEnt casino brand respectively.
